Cenveo, the parent of Kent-based ColorGraphics, is “absolutely committed to the Seattle market.” So says Wendy Holmvik, the newly appointed EVP of sales for Cenveo’s Print Group & Strategic Accounts. Wendy said Sept. 7 “marked an exciting new milestone at Cenveo.” That’s when the company completed its financial restructuring and emerged from Chapter 11.
She said the steps included significantly reducing debt, creating additional liquidity and securing $230 million in exit financing to support the go-forward strategy.

As part of those steps, commercial presses at the Kent CG facility were moved to other Cenveo facilities and CG has continued to operate its sales and prepress operations in Kent, sending work to L.A. and plants across the country for printing. It also has been using other local shops and binderies for some printing and finishing work.

Holmvik will be responsible for sales at more than 30 Cenveo facilities nationwide. She has held several major sales and operations positions with the company over the past nine years, prior to her promotion to EVP.

“We’re absolutely committed to the Seattle market,” Wendy said. “We utilize an end-to-end approach and one-vendor accountability to meet all of our customer needs.”

James Miller is general manager of the Kent facility and Quinton Alari is head of sales for the envelope operation.
