Bill Knudsen, our Seattle Mariners expert, always has a lot of good ideas in his column on our website and in his personal blog. He sent me this page that the Hollywood Reporter runs in every issue on marriages, births and new hires. It struck a chord.
We do a pretty fair job of reporting deaths and new hires in our marcomm community, but births and marriages go completely unreported (unless they happen to coincide with another event, like Britt Fero giving birth about the same time her new agency was named Ad Age’s Small Agency of the Year in the Northwest).
However, we can’t do it without your cooperation. Henceforth (and it’s about time!), we welcome both your nuptial and newborn announcements, along with photos, please. Thanks, Bill. —LC
