Here’s a quick recap of responses to the COVID-19 Qwz from the Seattle marcomm community. The respondents largely disagree with protests again the Stay-At-Home order, believe it will be at least December until things are back to some semblance of normalcy, have been somewhat affected financially, think the crisis will result in an increase in working from home and expect the November 3 election to be held as scheduled. Perhaps because few folks really know how or where to get tested, 100% of the respondents say they’ve not been tested, but half of them plan to get tested. And here are a couple of the comments:
“Curious to see what the “new normal” will end up being?
Less office space rented/sold due to more people working from home?
Greater love and appreciation family due to closeness these past months? Realizing what is really important with family/work/ relationships.”
“I’m a proponent of social distancing and using techniques to stop the spread of saliva, currently spread through human transfer. But the %’s are very low, given how few tests have been conducted in the state of Washington alone. Only some 138,000 tests have been given compared with 7.6 million people who live in the state, and of that total, fewer than 700 people have perished due to COVID-19. I’ll take the odds I can survive it.”
