Pat Cashman, emcee at a previous Totem Awards event, eyes a table full of Totems.

C+C again dominated the PRSA Totems Awards with a total of 14 Totems and two Certificates of Excellence, as well as Best of Show and Outstanding Young Professional. Runnerup Allstate Northwest Corporate Relations received six Totems and two Certificates.

This year’s C+C performance topped last year’s, when the agency took home a dozen Totems and three Certificates, tripling the haul by runner-up Chelan PUD. The Best of Show award was for the Better Building Challenge SWAP program for the U.S. Department of Energy. And Samantha Leeds of the C+C staff was named Outstanding Young Professional.

A total of 21 entrants were awarded 45 Totems and 11 Certificates. Other awards included the President’s Choice Award to Metro Parks of Tacoma for its KidTrek at Northwest Wildlife Park in the Marketing Communications category and the Public Relations Professional of the Year to Bill Dugovich.
