The choice for mayor may be the easiest in the history of the mayor’s race in Seattle. Native son Bruce Harrell brings the knowledge and experience and strength needed to get Seattle back on track. And who better to deal with the do-nothing, wheel-spinning city council than Harrell, who once served as council chair as well as acting mayor, after the resignation of Ed Murray.

His challenger, Lorena Gonzales, brings as her credentials for mayor a failed term as chairman of the woefully ineffective city council.
