Take note! The deadline is March 16 to submit entries in the new MARKETING Awards competition—showcasing the best work of 2011, across the marcomm spectrum.

Simply go to www.marketingnw.com and click on the Big M, shown at right. It will take you to the awards website where you can review the 43 categories and fill out the easy-to-use digital Entry Form.

Judging will be done by a unique combination of evaluators: the 11-person Awards Committee comprising local marcomm professionals not involved in the competition, an Expert Panel of out-of-market professionals, chaired by Ron Elgin, and visitors to the marketingnw.com website.

Judging will be done online between March 19 and April 10. The only exception is entries in the Graphic Arts category, which will be judged solely by the Awards Committee.

The entry fee is $50 per entry up to 10 entries, $35 for each additional entry, $75 for a campaign entry (three to five pieces) and $25 for student entries. Entrants will be invoiced for payment by check or credit card on PayPal.

Winning entries will be posted online on May 1. The Big M Awards will be presented to winners in each category at the Center for Urban Horticulture on May 17.
