Do you have a name in mind of someone you feel deserves to be considered as this year’s recipient of the prestigious AAF Silver Medal?

It’s time once again for the AAFSeattle (formerly AdClub Seattle) Seattle ADDY Award competition, with a deadline of Jan. 13 for entry submissions.

The organization also is receiving nominations for the AAF Silver Medal, the ADDY Awards’ lifetime achievement award that will be presented at the annual awards ceremony on March 22. Place and time are still to be announced.

Email your Medal nominee info to silvermedal@addyseattle.com by Feb. 21. The 2011 winners were Tracy Wong and Pat Doody of Wong, Doody, Crandall, Wiener. The previous years’ winners were Jim Copacino of Copacino+ Fujikado and Dick Hadley, now retired and living in Arizona, respectively.

There are 77 categories for both professionals and students in the three-tier ADDY competition, which begins at the local level, moves on to regional and finally to national competition.

Drop off ADDY entries for work done in 2011 at Cole & Weber United at 221 Yale Ave. N., 5th Floor, in Seattle.  Entries received after the Jan. 13 deadline will be charged a late fee. Visit www.ADDYSeattle.com for more information.
